Default Guild Recruitment

There are some exceedingly nice people in gaming. I still hate the word community. Sounds like you have the knack for finding the good ones.

I am still fairly new to the gaming ..hmm game. But, I keep reading that people want more players in their guild...in the GW game etc...but then I see or read cliquey statements. They want to be big shots and yet grow at the same time.

I am looking for a non cliquey guild. I am not desperate. I am happy playing with my hero's and henchmen.

I was recruited by one guild. I said in a guild chat. The only thing I hate about GW is the fact you have to start a quest from the beginning if you have to sign off. Some in the chat took issue with me blaspheming the name of GW and saw it as a time to think and grow smart....in perfect Asura style. I was a morooon. Deficient in brain functioning. I called them a booka...and was dropped from the guild. Who was the rude one here? Hmmmm...Is it like being a member of a country ..golf club?

Anyway.. I am still open to the idea of a guild..but ok one way or another. Just writing this mainly because I am at work and bored. I guess we are all walking contradictions like the Green Day song says. We want GW to be popular again but we want to be a cliquey snob too.

I feel bad for saying Booka now. But...everything has the right to grow. Sometimes an elite marking campaign can work as in the case of a country club. But country club want big dollars and few members. They want more money from a few elite members. Since guilds ..as far as I know don't charge...an elite marketing mix may not work. This is more of a mass marketing or ..some where between a mass marking and elite approach. Knowing the market..and markets change..which you have said...is key.

If you'd like to try Digital Conquest, feel free to send me a note in game or here on GWG. As you can see from this video you know what we're looking for so you have a good idea of what you can expect. I think the only clique we are is that we are new and completely lost. LOL
